Alcan Cable RW90 Green Skim Coat
Alcan has received CSA approval for RW90 NUAL with a green skim coat. The product will be marked "SR" for Sunlight Resistance. Alcan is the only manufacturer that has an ACM RW90 with green covering.

Alcan Cable N˛ ™ ACWU
The extensive use of electronic devices in commercial and institutional buildings is responsible for a growing number of problems with harmonic currents in electrical systems. A common practice by specifiers is to ask for K-factor transformers and larger neutral conductors. This allows the transformer and cable to handle the harmonic currents without overheating. Alcan Cable has introduced N˛ ™ ACWU to assist in this effort. N˛ ™ ACWU is an armoured multiconductor cable containing two full sized neutrals. It reduces total installed costs for building owners running critical systems.
Panasonic WhisperGreen ™ ventilation fan
Panasonic is proud to introduce a revolution in ventilation fans. The WhisperGreen ™ fan is powered by a DC motor. This allows for some significant features, while maintaining our status of the quietest ventilation fan available.
The fan speed is configurable to run at a low CFM level when the room is unoccupied. The fan will elevate to its’ maximum level, when activated by a switch or motion sensor, and will stay on while in use, and for a short time period, via the user configured time delay. The fan then returns to the lower speed. This is the perfect solution for continuous whole house ventilation, to keep your home healthy, while maximizing energy savings.
Marcus Transformer meets new NRCan requirements.
Natural Resources Canada has mandated all transformer manufacturers to comply with new energy efficiency requirements. NRCan asks that all manufacturers make dry type distribution transformers to CSA specification C802-2. This specification sets out minimum efficiency standards. This standard will insure maximum energy savings for building owners versus a traditional non-compliant transformer.
